Longneck: A History Preserved


The Longneck project is one that has been very near and dear to Creation Cafe founder, Jason Morrison. Longneck is the name of the Battalion that one of his grandfathers served in during World War II. Upon his return, he chronicled the group's story and had that printed for all the men.

Now, more than 60 years later, new technology has been able to bring the book back into a professionally printed format. The original book jacket was plain green with only text on the cover. To freshen up this great book, a new cover was created. Below are several drafts:

The final book was printed with 153 pages at a size of 6.00" x 9.00" with perfect binding. The interior was printed on 60# cream paper and black and white ink. The full color jacket was printed on 100# paper. The book can be purchased at Lulu.com. Some final printed product shots are below:
