Visual Artists Collective of Henry County, Inc.
Creative Director and Creation Cafe founder joined the Visual Artists Collective of Henry County, Inc (VAC) in 2003. The organization was dedicated to promoting art and the artist within Henry County, Georgia through a wide assortment of community events, lectures, and competitions.
At the time, the organization's leaders were pouring their blood, sweat, and tears into the group in an effort to promote art within their community. Unfortunately, their group had no online representation which was soon corrected.
The challenge was to build a site that not only fit their identity, but that communicated their purpose, acted as a vehicle for their forms, and allowed interaction with members .
Creation Cafe donated the work to the VAC, providing them with a web presence and custom skin for their discussion board. A PHP/MySQL news feed was also added, allowing specific members the ability to post updated information directly to the main page of the VAC website.
